Traveling to a clinic can be difficult for some animals. Transportation, unfamiliar surroundings, and exposure to other pets may contribute to anxiety or discomfort. An in-home appointment removes many of these changes, allowing your pet to remain in a familiar space while you receive professional guidance and describe changes in routine, eating habits, mobility, or behavior. This can be especially meaningful for elderly or medically fragile pets. When dog acupuncture San Diego is being considered, our goal is to make veterinary care feel more personal while maintaining professional standards.

Diagnosis, Treatment & Follow-Up Care Veterinary care may require ongoing attention rather than a single visit. We provide exams, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and follow-up care as your pet’s needs change.
Acupuncture & Integrative Support Acupuncture is available as one of Chulittle’s integrative veterinary services. Families searching for San Diego acupuncture dogs can speak with the veterinary team about their pet’s circumstances and whether acupuncture may have a role within an individualized care plan. Before complementary therapy is considered, the pet’s overall health should be discussed with a qualified veterinary professional.
Holistic Therapies Alongside veterinary services, Chulittle offers Reiki as a complementary option families can discuss as part of their companion’s broader care.
Hospice & Palliative Care When a pet faces a serious or advanced condition, maintaining comfort becomes a priority. Hospice and palliative care help families address changing needs while allowing their companion to remain in familiar surroundings.
In-Home Euthanasia Saying goodbye to a beloved companion is never easy. In-home euthanasia allows families to spend this time together in a private, familiar environment.
TELEHEALTH CONSULTATIONS Some follow-up discussions may be suitable for remote communication, offering another way to connect with the veterinary team when an in-person visit isn’t immediately necessary.
Convenience is one part of the in-home experience, but comfort matters just as much. Instead of asking your companion to adapt to an unfamiliar clinic, our mobile model brings veterinary attention into an environment your pet already recognizes.

I didn’t even know where to begin. Dr. Chu truly gave my dog, Rigby, extra years of life. She had been in pain for so long, and once Dr. Chu began acupuncture treatments, the change was almost immediate. Her comfort, mobility, and overall happiness improved in ways I never thought were possible. I was—and still am—forever grateful for Dr. Chu’s skill, compassion, and the care she showed my girl and my family. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely made a difference, Dr. Chu did exactly that.Posted on Google![]()

Dr. Chu really went above and beyond to care for our pups! She’s very timely with responses and working through course of treatment. Our pups are avid runners, and as they’ve gotten older, we reached out to Dr. Chu for holistic treatment so that they continue being able to maintain healthy and active lifestyles. Dr. Chu is very patient and answered all of our questions. We’re repeat customers! Thank you Dr. Chu!Posted on Google![]()

Dr. Chu is amazing! Her practice is holistic, intentional, and attentive. Her home visits and the services she provides are great and she really works with your schedule and what’s best for your fur babies. My cats are terrified of going to the vet so these at home visits are just great in terms of meeting them where they’re at and allowing them to get their preventative care done in-house stress free!Posted on Google![]()

Dr. Chu has been a true gift to our family and to our beloved dogs. From at home acupuncture and pain relief that brought great comfort to our senior dogs, to compassionate end-of-life care, she has shown incredible kindness, reliability and expertise. Having her come to our home instead of visiting a veterinary clinic made such a difference, allowing our pets to feel safe and comfortable. We are deeply grateful and highly recommend Dr. Chu to anyone seeking a caring and dedicated Mobile Vet.Posted on Google![]()

I can't recommend Dr Chu Little enough!!!! To make a long story short we can no longer take our dog to the vet. We can't get him out of the car. He won't let a vet near him. He gets very aggressive and now he associates the muzzle with a vet so I can't get that on him!!! We found Dr Chu Little through our dog sitter. We explained our situation. She came to the house as a "friend" to meet our dog. She came back with her vet bag which she left outside our front door. We held our dog and she ran in and gave him a shot to tranquilize him so that she could get bloodwork and give him shots. She was so gentle with both us and our dog. She even brought soothing music. She has recommended several supplements to help our dogs various medical issues. She is an excellent vet that is creative and thinks outside the box. We can't thank her enough!!!!Posted on Google![]()

Dr.Chu is a knowledgeable and compassionate vet! It's so amazing that she offers her mobile services. She's been able to provide anxiety-free new puppy exams as well as in-home nail trims for my dramatic pug. Previously, she's provided home visits to address pain issues for my aging dog with acupuncture and laser therapy. My prior dog also had a lot of anxiety going to the vet so it was so much less stressful for him and me to have her come to my home. Thanks so much, Dr. Chu!Posted on Google![]()

Dr. Chulittle went above and beyond when I had to put my 19 year old Chihuahua down. She was there for me the night before when he got up and walked after not walking for over a week. She came to my house and was beyond supportive as I held my baby as he went. Afterwards his remains were honorably cremated, and I also had jewelry made with his ashes. As a surprise she bought me a ceramic of his paw print and some of his hair. I would recommend her to anyone whose dog is crossing the rainbow bridge. Her caring and kindness made what was a truly sad experience as positive as it could be. Thank you Dr. Chulittle 🐾🐕🌈
